Resona Privacy Policy

Resona ("we," "our," or "us") provides a mobile app where users can share personal stories, select emotion cards, respond to others, and manage an archive of their own activity. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
Information We Collect
- Account information, such as your email address, user ID, sign-in provider, display name, nickname, and profile photo.
- User-generated content, such as stories, selected emotion cards, empathy responses, comments, reports, and related timestamps.
- Notification information, such as Firebase Cloud Messaging tokens used to send push notifications.
- Device and app information needed for security, app integrity, crash prevention, and basic service operation.
- Advertising-related information collected or processed by Google AdMob, where ads are shown in the app.
- Locally stored preferences, such as onboarding state, cache data, draft content, and app settings.
How We Use Information
- To create and secure your account and authenticate sign-in requests.
- To provide app features, including stories, emotion cards, empathy responses, archives, profiles, and notifications.
- To moderate content, process reports, prevent abuse, and enforce app rules.
- To store profile photos and user content using Firebase services.
- To improve app reliability, performance, and user experience.
- To show advertisements when applicable.
Third-Party Services
Resona uses third-party services that may process information according to their own privacy policies, including Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions, Firebase Storage, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Firebase App Check, Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, and Google AdMob.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. Some information may be visible to other signed-in users as part of the app experience, such as public profile information, story metadata, selected cards, and public response summaries. Private response text is limited according to the app's access rules. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect users, or to operate and secure the service.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the app from abuse. You may request account deletion from within the app where available. Deleting an account may remove or anonymize related account data, subject to technical, legal, safety, and moderation requirements.
Security
We use Firebase security rules, authentication, App Check, and other safeguards to help protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Resona is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
International Users
Resona may be used in multiple countries, including Canada and South Korea. Your information may be processed in countries where our service providers operate.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.

수집하는 정보
- 이메일 주소, 사용자 ID, 로그인 제공자, 표시 이름, 닉네임, 프로필 사진 등 계정 정보
- 이야기, 선택한 감정 카드, 공감 응답, 댓글, 신고, 관련 시간 정보 등 사용자 생성 콘텐츠

정보 공유
Resona는 개인정보를 판매하지 않습니다. 다만 앱 기능 제공을 위해 공개 프로필 정보, 이야기 메타데이터, 선택한 카드, 공개 공감 요약 등 일부 정보가 로그인한 다른 사용자에게 표시될 수 있습니다. 비공개 응답 내용은 앱의 접근 규칙에 따라 제한됩니다. 법적 의무 이행, 사용자 보호, 서비스 운영 및 보안을 위해 필요한 경우 정보가 공개될 수 있습니다.
보관 및 삭제
Resona는 서비스 제공, 법적 의무 이행, 분쟁 해결, 악용 방지를 위해 필요한 기간 동안 정보를 보관합니다. 앱에서 제공되는 계정 삭제 기능을 통해 계정 삭제를 요청할 수 있습니다. 계정 삭제 시 기술적, 법적, 안전 및 운영상 필요한 범위 내에서 관련 정보가 삭제되거나 익명화될 수 있습니다.
보안
Resona는 Firebase 보안 규칙, 인증, App Check 등 보호 조치를 사용합니다. 다만 어떤 전송 또는 저장 방식도 완전히 안전하다고 보장할 수는 없습니다.
아동
Resona는 만 13세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않습니다. 아동이 개인정보를 제공했다고 생각되는 경우 연락해 주시면 검토 후 필요한 조치를 취하겠습니다.
국제 사용자
Resona는 캐나다와 대한민국을 포함한 여러 국가에서 사용될 수 있습니다. 정보는 서비스 제공자가 운영되는 국가에서 처리될 수 있습니다.
변경
본 개인정보처리방침은 변경될 수 있으며, 변경 시 이 페이지에 새로운 최종 업데이트 날짜와 함께 게시됩니다.
